Cool Stuff: House Industries Koi Fish

re-souL is full of all kinds of cool stuff.

Most recently we received these koi fish,
designed by the infamous House Industries.
House Industries is known throughout the world
as a prolific type foundry
and has made a considerable impact on the world of design.

The koi fish come in 2 sizes, small and large,
and the story behind these fish is indeed one to tell.

First off, they are constructed from renewable,
reclaimed or sustainable sources;
including pine from 100-year-old logs
fished out of the Grand River in Grand Rapids.
They are then cut into fish, both small and large.
Sanded, lacquered and hand printed with various type oriented designs.
