Introducing Maison Forte shoes for men!
Maison Forte is an exciting new footwear collection for men, thoughtfully and carefully designed with meticulous attention to quality in construction, materials and fit. The name -Maison Forte- refers - refers to the very real "safe houses" that were used by persecuted peoples of Europe to find shelter during the late 1930's and 1940's. Andrew, the designer, would not be here today if not for the Maisons Fortes which allowed his grandparents to escape nazi germany in 1940.
The designs are heavily influenced by Germany's Bauhaus School of design as well as Neues Bauen (Modern Objectivity). Proportions are modern, lines are clean, the forms are simple and matter of fact.
Maison Forte is not over-designed or overly ornate,
their aesthetic beauty comes from the materials employed.
